Masjid Renovation

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

We pray to Allah SWT that you are all well and safe. Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful to Allah for the blessed month of Ramadhan.

We, at Salaam Masjid in Bedford would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of our brothers and sisters for being part of our vibrant and growing community.

With your support, we have been able to accomplish so much over the past few years by expanding our programmes and services to the local community. We ask Allah SWT to accept our efforts, forgive our shortcomings and count us among those who have earned his pleasure, Ameen.
 

By the permission of Allah, we managed to acquire the masjid last year and we are now in the process of launching a fundraising campaign to renovate hence expanding the praying area to accommodate more worshippers inside the masjid.

Once again, we would appreciate your generosity by pledging your donations for this project for the sake of Allah (Fi-sabilillah). As mentioned in Sahih Muslim, Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم as saying: “When a man passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three:  Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or  a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased). [Sahih Muslim – Book 13 – Hadith 4005]
